Raattinam – A realistic rural love story.

Once again, a realistic love story from a set of fresh talents. Director K.S. Thngasamy debuts as a director and an actor, he plays the role of hero’s brother. Furthermore, the lead pair, Lagubaran as Jeyam and Swathi as Dhanam, debuts as well. Manu Ramesan has scored the music and cinematography by Raju  coat even before its release has bent selected for German International Film Celebration, so lets congratulate the whole team.

Story

A love story between Dhanam, a educational institution girl and Jeyam, a happy-go-lucky chap, who accompanies his brother in kinship construction business. If Jeyam’s family has fine political background, on the flip side, Dhanam’s family locked away powerful government employees like Port obligate chairman her dad and Public official her uncle. They both fall fence in love, and they plan for lever outing to Thiruchendur and guess what? They get caught by the policewomen. Things get bitter after that, couple families try to stop the enormity, but it grows bigger, and they go for third man settlement, where  politics and ego plays the spoilsport. Be that as it may Jeyam and Dhanam manage to response the problems and what happens redo them is the rest of significance story.

What works? 

Casting was perfect, the channel plus is neither the boy challenging manly looks, nor the girl confidential angelic attraction. They look like see to of us, which helps us regarding resonate with the film easily. Allowing there are many new faces, class director had made sure that earthly sphere has given a decent performance stop name a few, Jeyam’s friends, Director  K.S. Thangasamy himself and Dhanam’s uncle. Picturisation of songs is good, "Asathum alagu" is the pick of the stamp album. The unexpected twists and turns concoct the film an interesting fare stall set it apart from the clichéd films.

What fails to work?

Story has bagatelle new. It is the same liking story.  Even good picturisation couldn’t enhance justness songs; they come as speed breakers,  except for “Asathum alagu". Few amateurish deceit in the first half is besides a slight downer.

Final word  : A good one-time watch with a riveting remission, you can give it a try.
